Sega's latest announcement about the Minecraft content pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, scheduled for release on October 8, 2025, brings an exciting twist to the racing saga. This innovative content pack introduces fan-favorite Minecraft characters Steve, Alex, and Creeper into the racing universe, creating a unique crossover appeal to fans of both franchises.

Players with a Season Pass or Digital Deluxe edition of the game will have immediate access to this content, enhancing their racing experience with a new stage tailored to capture the essence of Minecraft’s blocky charm. Meanwhile, the fun doesn't stop with individual play; a Minecraft Festival, integrated with the release, will run from October 9 through October 12 and be open to all players, regardless of whether they own the pack.

The game advances with robust cross-platform play capabilities, allowing up to 12 racers online through cross-platform matchmaking, while local split-screen modes support up to four players, fostering a communal gaming experience.
