This mod operates by intelligently recording and storing all the chunks that are sent by the server. These recorded chunks are saved locally, specifically within the .minecraft/.bobby directory. Once stored, Bobby can then load and display these chunks even when they are outside the server's current view-distance. This mechanism allows players to see further into the game world, revealing terrain and structures that would otherwise remain hidden. Furthermore, Bobby offers an optional but highly useful feature: it can utilize an existing single-player world to load in chunks that the server has never transmitted. To activate this fallback functionality, players simply need to rename the folder of their desired single-player world to 'bobby-fallback', ensuring that the game can access this supplementary data. Bobby is compatible with the Fabric mod loader and supports a range of Minecraft versions, including 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11, as well as versions 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, and 26.2.
