Minecraft characters Steve, Alex, and the Creeper are now available in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The addition enhances the game with new playable characters and a unique Minecraft-themed environment.

The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds - Minecraft Pack introduces these characters along with the Minecart vehicle and a Minecraft World track. Players can enjoy remixed Minecraft music and six emotes for each character. Furthermore, additional Minecraft-inspired sounds enrich the gaming experience.
Performance & fixes
The update, which was released on 2025-12-22, also made the new soundtrack available for streaming. Fans can now listen to the remixed tracks on Spotify and other popular platforms, extending the Minecraft experience beyond the game itself.

A special in-game event, the Minecraft Festival, is scheduled to run from 2025-10-09 at 8:00pm ET to 2025-10-12 at 7:59pm ET. This festival will include races and offer prizes, attracting both Sonic Racing and Minecraft enthusiasts.
